This appears to be the ONLY Crookall entry in Rufford, so perhaps the rest were from Liverpool(the name abode in thi stranscript and where the sponsor lived in the original transcript) or Preston(a no of Crookalls are listed here and it is closeby)
found George Crookall ( who I already knew about from a prfeviously pain manual search of Parish records at Rufford by Rev. Cook of Brisbane many eyars ago)
